Notes
Configuring the Calling Party Number Type setting and prefixes in Cisco Unified
Communications Manager Administration to reformat the calling party number from the
PSTN-localized version to the globally dialable version by prefixing required access codes,
international access codes, and so on, to the calling party number (based on the calling party
number type that the PSTN provides).
Adds support for e.164 Global Format, including the '+' escape character (e.g., in US a
number would be +1-212-555-1212. This '+' gets replaced in the SP network, with the
International Access Code required for the country. Use "\+" to signify International Escape
Char in Route Patterns, Hunt Pilot, and Translation Patterns. Also can configure in
Calling/Called Party Transformations. This feature also supports Normalization feature.
Useful for Centralized CUCM Deployment, especially if doing TEHO. Fundamental
breakthrough is decoupling of location of PSTN GW from the Route Patterns that use that
GW. Reduces number of Route Lists, Route Patterns, Partitions, and CSSes.
Set MTPs and Transcoders as Trusted Relay Points. Enable devices to use TRPs on the Device
Pool or Device config. Allows QoS to be easily deployed for VoIP to a softphone, without
trusting all QoS markings from that endstation. Can simply enable QoS for all traffic for that
endstation to the MTP/Transcoder.
Allows more efficient selection of Video Bridge selection to enable the resources only if an
ad-hoc conference really needs them.
Connect call from mobile device using UCM and Enterprise PSTN Gateway. Cell Phone
originates call to GW and UCM bridges it to desired DNIS. Actual voice sent over cellular, not
data connection from phone, which is only used for signaling.
Transfer a call to user-selected directed call park number. Configure directed call park
numbers in the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Directed Call Park Configuration
window. Configured directed call park numbers exist clusterwide. You can configure phones
that support the directed call park Busy Lamp Field (BLF) to monitor the busy/idle status of
specific directed call park numbers.
Like Dial-via-Office Forward, but have UCM originate both legs of the call.
Set time schedule of when to activate Simultaneous Ring
Initiate a call from Sametime to Cisco Web Dialer
SNR now supports URLs as a remote destination to a MOC client. For instance,
administrators can now configure a username@[Link] to ring on a MOC client in
addition to mobile phones or home phones.
Interoperability with Microsoft UM Server to deliver T.38 fax to Exchange Mailbox
UCM Integrates with it for user authentication
Specify explicitly which ringing phone to pick up from a pickup group.
Nothing presented to feature user. Calling party gets busy indicator.
Allows EM Phone button Template to be used across multiple models of phones as long as
the number of lines is the same. If number of lines is not the same, the Default Button
Template for that phone is still used.
The Single Button Barge/cBarge feature allows the user to simply press the shared-line
button to be added to the call (instead of using a softkey) for SIP phones.
Just like Join, but across different lines for SIP phones.
Chain two existing Ad-Hoc Conference calls on the phone for SIP phones.
Basic 24-line phone for Retail, adding support for SIP now.
Add support for SIP phones.
