Presentation and Viva Voce for Project Study course of


MBA Semester IV students Guidelines

1. The presentation and viva voce for the Project Study course will be from May
3 to May 6, 2010 from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. as given in the University time
table for semester IV.

2. The institutes where the intake is 60, their presentations and viva voce will be
on 3rd and 4th May. The institutes where the intake is 90, their presentations
and viva voce will be from 3rd to 5th May and in those institutes which have
120 students, their presentations and viva voce will be from 3rd to 6th May.

3. For the project study course, there will be internal and external evaluations of
50 and 100 marks respectively. The internal evaluation will be done by the
project guide from the respective institute and the external evaluation will be
done by a committee of three members constituted by the university at the
respective institute. The project guide will be one of the members of the
committee. The project study can be done individually or at the most in a
group of two students. The two external examiners for each day are
nominated by the University and their names have been communicated to the
respective examiners.

4. The concerned institute should prepare their schedule for presentations and
viva voce based on the above schedule covering about 30 students a day and
display the same on their notice boards for information of students.

5. Each group will be given 15 minutes for presentation, followed by question


answers for five minutes.

6. The presentation and viva voce will be jointly conducted by the internal
examiner (project guide) and the external examiners nominated as above.
However, marks will be given only by the external examiners for the
presentation and viva voce. The internal guide will give marks for project
and viva voce out of 50, which will be sent by the institute along with the
internal marks of other subjects in the format given by the University.

7. Each external examiner will award marks out of 50, separately. Each
examiner will prepare the mark sheet showing the marks awarded to all the
students of the day. The format of the mark sheet will be sent by the
University through e-mail. Two copies of the mark sheet will be prepared,
out of which one sealed copy should be sent to the Controller of
Examinations and another sealed copy to the Central Assessment Cell at K.S.
School of Business Management directly by the examiner.

8. The institutes should take the attendance of the students attending the
presentation and viva voce and send the same to the Central Assessment Cell.
