Responsibilities as Chief Accountant:


1. Maintain, update and reconcile the following on a periodic basis:
All bank accounts;
Petty cash and all relevant records;
Fixed Assets Register;
Finance section stationery supplies;

2. Check and ensure all processes are in order on a periodic basis:


Daily receipts and banking;
Daily cash book postings;
Monthly Accounts payable adjustments;
Payroll calculations.

3. Follow up payment and process outstanding accounts receivable invoices;

4. Reconcile general ledger accounts as and when required;

5. Preparation of financial reports;

6. File return of income tax and sale tax

7. Coordination of work and monitoring process of Finance Staff;

8. Supervision of the work and performance of Finance Staff when necessary;
