Batch '86 Alumni Feeding Program

Batch 1986 alumni of Catmon Elementary School in Malolos City, along with the civic group Saturday Night Barkada, organized a feeding program for elementary students last September 29th. The feeding program was the first project spearheaded by the 1986 alumni batch to promote gratitude and encourage community service. The group plans to continue the feeding program at various public elementary schools in Malolos City starting with their initial event at Bulihan Elementary School during Nutrition Month.

Batch 86 alumni gives back via feeding program

Promoting the attitude of gratitude, Batch 1986 of Catmon Elementary School (now
City of Malolos Integrated School Catmon) provided a feeding session to
elementary pupils, last September 29.

Along with the Saturday Night Barkada (SNB), a civic action group composed of
homeowners from Alido Heights Subdivision, elementary graduates of batch 1986
spearheaded the said feeding program.

Masaya ako na matagumpay naming nairaos sa tulong ng barangay council at mga


guro ang proyekto na ito dahil alam kong maganda itong simulain para ipabatid sa
lahat na mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng ganitong uri ng gawain, said Fernando
Ilag, SNB president.

Ilag also added that the said program is planned to be done in various City of
Malolos public elementary schools. Sinimulan na namin ito last month sa Bulihan
Elementary School nong Nutrition Month, at napagkasunduan naming lahat na
gawin ito sa ibat ibang paaralan.
