- Job title/ Position type: Manufacturing Warehouse Associate Packer
- Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
- Rate: $9.00/hour
- Department: Manufacturing

- General summary: The Manufacturing Warehouse Associate - Packer is responsible
for the production and packaging of a variety of manufactured products. Preparing
containers and boxes for shipments, correctly pulling and loading large volumes of
goods, also cleaning the containers and boxes before placing goods on them. The
Packer position is a support role for several areas of manufacturing.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
o Perform production duties (such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling
operations and sorting)
o Move product and inventory (using a forklift and bin system)
o Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department
supervisor
o Execute and document quality inspections per SOP (standard operating
produce)
o Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and
follow prescribed safety regulations
o Perform related duties as required by supervision/ Performance following
some specific requirements from manager.
o Break down cardboard for recycling
- Physical requirements:
o Required to stand for long periods of time
o Involve some repetitive motions
o Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
o May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling
of parts and part containers
- Working conditions: Do to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to
work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat,
humidity and cold
2. Job specification:
- Requirements:
o Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
o Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various
levels within the organization
o Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division
o Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
o Maintain the production pace of other team members
o Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
o Must be certified or become certified in operation of forklift
