MODE: INDIVIDUAL

PROBLEM: A PROPOSED GARDEN HOTEL

A GROUP OF INVESTORS PLANS TO CONSTRUCT A MEDIUM SIZE HOTEL IN THE UPTOWN PART
OF DASMARINAS CAVITE, IT IS EXPECTED TO ACCOMMODATE LOCAL TOURIST, OUT OF TOWN
BUSINESSMEN AS WELL AS FOREIGN TOURIST WHO WANTS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CITY LIFE
WITHIN THE HEART OF DASMARINAS, CAVITE. THE GROUP EXPECTS THE DESIGN TO FUNCTIONAL AND
EFFICIENT TO BE AT FAR WITH THE CHAIN OF HOTELS OPERATED BY THE GROUP THOUGHOUT THE
COUNTRY AND ABROAD. THE FORM SHALL BE DESIGNED TO APPEASE AND COMFORT THE EYE OF THE
GUEST BUT ALSO TO CREATE A LANDMARK IN THE CITY OF DASMARINAS.

DESIGN CONSIDERATION

THE BUILDING SHALL DISPLAY POCKET GARDENS PRESENT AND VISIBLE OUTSIDE AND INTERIOR
PART OF THE STRUCTURE AND GUEST ROOMS. VERTICAL GARDENS MUST BE INCORPORATED BOTH IN
AND OUTSIDE THE RECEPTION/ LOBBY AND LANDSCAPING SORROUNDING THE STRUCTURE.
