Day01
Arrive Trivandrum
Welcome to Trivandrum, the most charming city of Kerala. Begin your 'Kerala Kitchen Tour Ex Trivandrum' tour . On arrival at
the airport or railway station in Trivandrum, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to relax.
Overnight in Trivandrum.

Day02
In Trivandrum * Excursion to Kanyakumari (90 kms / approx. 3 hours drive)
After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Kanyakumari.
Kanyakumari lies in southernmost tip of India where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet. Visit
Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a popular tourist monument in Vavathurai, Kanyakumari. The memorial stands on one of two
rocks located about 500 meters east off mainland of Vavathurai, India's southernmost tip.
Evening return back to hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

Day03
On to Alleppey (147 kms / approx. 4 hours drive)
Post breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, en route visit Kovalam Beach , Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and enjoy the
backwaters of Alleppey.
Undoubtedly one of the cleanest and most pristine water fronts in Kerala is the main beach at Kovalam. Its natural beauty and
warm waters have attracted tourists from far and beyond. The sea here is calmer than other beaches. Kovalam beach is an
expanse of land that stretches far and wide.
Located in the centre of Thiruvananthapuram, the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is built in the Dravidian style of architecture.
The temple has high fortifications and is a replica of the Adikesava temple in Kanyakumari. The temple has been erected in
obeisance to Lord Vishnu. This temple is a work of art and truly portrays the might of Keralite architecture.
Later proceed to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey. Alleppey is Kerala's Venice of the East, a heartland of lagoons and
mangrove fields, inter-linked with hundreds of narrow winding canals.
On arrival in Alleppey and checkin to your hotel.
In the evening, take a small walk to the Alleppey jetty to enjoy a Boat cruise on Vembanad lake.

Day04
On to Thekkady (129 kms / approx. 3 1/2 hours drive)
Today, proceed to Thekkady. On arrival, check into your hotel.
Today, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) - the land of the spice plantations, En route visit Spice Plantation. Post lunch at 1400 hrs;
proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat ride / Elephant Ride in Thekkady (Complimentary from Cox and Kings, same will
be subject to avaibility / weather condition). Later attend Kathakali Dance / Kalaripayattu performance.
The rest of the day is at leisure to walk through the bustling spice market in the Kumily Village.

Day05
On to Munnar (95 kms / approx. 3 hours drive)
Today drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar which is surrounded by lush green tea estates. En route enjoy spice
plantation tour. On arrival, check into your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this quaint hill station.

Day06
In Munnar
Today, proceed on a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar including visit to places like, the Rose Garden and the Tata Tea
Museum (Closed on Mondays. Timing 1000hrs to 1700hrs).
Return back to hotel for lunch.
Post lunch, proceed to visit Mattupetty Lake which is flanked by steep hills, woods and a small hydro-electricity dam. Enjoy a
panoramic view of the dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations.
Later, return back to the hotel.
The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities.

Day07
On to Kochi(130 kms / approx. 4 hours drive)
Today after breakfast, check out and proceed to Kochi. On arrival check in to your hotel.
Post lunch, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Kochi, visiting places like the St. Francis Church, Mattencherry Palace, The
Jewish Synagogue and view the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi area.
St Francis Church is one of the oldest churches in India, built by Europeans. Originally built in 1503, the church has witnessed
many skirmishes between Indians and the Britishers. St Francis Church was declared a protected monument in 1923. This
church is built in the Indo gothic style of architecture.
The Mattanchery palace is a Dutch Palace in the state of Kerala and was built in 1555. It served as a gift to the local Raja of
Kochi. The palace stands as a testament of the Dutch rule over Cochin and neighboring areas. The palace now exhibits Temple
art, portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi.
The Jewish synagogue is also called the Pardesi Synagogue. It is located in the corner of the Jew town in the city of Kochi. The
Jewish synagogue is a prayer house or shrine for people from the Jewish faith . Built in 1568, the synagogue has a 500 year old
history attached to it.
Chinese fishing nets also called Cheena vala are the fishing installations made in Kochi. Each net has a limited area and depth
of operation. The fishing nets make for a beautiful backdrop for photography.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this quaint hill station.
