BREAKING OF THE SEALS REVELATION 6

This translates to the Olivet prophecy where JESUS gave them the signs of his
coming (rapture) and of the end of age.
Theme of the Olivet prophecy is the breaking of the 1 st Four seals and the
release of the four apocalyptic horsemen.
Mathew, mark and Luke recorded the prophecy but John received its
interpretation and recorded it in Revelation 6.

Pale Horse: its name is death and hades follows him. He was given full authority and power to kill
mankind by the sword, famine, disease and the beasts of the earth.

This is where Jesus gave to his disciples the signs of His coming.

The following should be noted about the scroll;


1. Only the Lamb of God (JESUS CHRIST) can break the seals and open the
scroll on the merit of what he did on the CROSS
2. It shows the prophetic timeline of GOD towards the end of time i.e. every time
a seal is broken; we are getting closer to the end. It reveals the count down
towards the end of time

3. Every time a seal is broken along the scroll, many events spiritual and
physical unfolds on earth and in heaven e.g.
(a) Signs of the coming of the messiah
- Daniel 12:1 - A great DISTRESS across the earth;
- Mathew 24:4 8: deception, wars and rumors of war, earthquakes,

famines
Mark 13:5 8: deception, wars and rumors of war, nation rising
against a nation and kingdom against a kingdom, earthquakes,

famines
Luke 21:8 11: deception, wars and revolutions, nation rising against
nation and kingdom against kingdom, great earthquakes, famines and

pestilences.
(b) The coming of the messiah/The wedding of the Lamb/Rapture
- Daniel 12:2 and 3
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
- Isaiah 26:20
(c) Tribulation and
(d) Great tribulation
