You would have

thought after
being on tour for
3 months that
once youre home
you would kick
up your feet and
lie on the sofa
for a good few
days. Not for 20
year old Edward
Adeyemi, or Lil
Eddy by stage
name.

s I sat in the
dimming
sunlight in
Hyde Park with
a cheeky jug
of sex on the
beach, a tall figure strolls over to me
with his casual strut, dressed head
to toe in a collection of autumnal
toned clothing from
Supreme to Topman.
Edward sat down on the
chair opposite me and
poured himself a drink
before commenting on
the quietness of our
surroundings.
Guess its been a
while since I had a proper
breather, he began. Im
only now having the rush from the
past 3 months settle in; still hearing
the bass echoing around in my
head.
Edward has been on tour
promoting his second albums
release: To Be, To Want. This
album, released 2 years after his

first, is taking the spotlight after

being featured in the new TV series
Humans on E4. Unlike
before, this album focuses more on
the harmonising of piano chords,
and the creative combination with
bass. According to Edward, this
album has been inspired by the
recent trips with Lucy, in which
he encountered a series of breathtaking journeys to discovering the
real him.
Ive never felt so connected with
the world. My character has been so
greatly influenced by the things Ive
experienced in life, and the people
Ive met. Im so happy to just express
myself through my music, and the
fact its being so recognised is really
surreal. He continued, while taking
a cigarette out of his pocket. The
album wasnt something that was
easy to write, but with the help of
James we managed to come up with
something pretty incredible.
Producer, James Ford has
worked with many other successful
artists such as The Arctic Monkeys,
and the Klaxons both of whom
have gone on to be headliners at
Glastonbury music festival.

2013, Lil Eddy has released 2

albums, and 13 singles. He recalls
his biggest hit Time Doesnt Wait
was produced in under 5 minutes
while playing around with some
chords and lyrics hed noted down.
Other songs can take up to weeks to
write up the
piano sheet music alone.
Music has always been
something Ive loved. I only started
playing piano when I was about
12; my parents wanted me to stop
biting my nails so they bought me
a keyboard for my Christmas, he
explained to me.
Its never too late to pick up new
hobbies, and thats why Ive never
stopped at anything.
As well as being a hit music
artist, Edward Adeyemi is well
known for his determination and
positivity after being diagnosed
with a rare, fatal degenerative brain
disorder, ALS, at the age of 19. With
over 500,000 followers on Twitter,
he has almost constant support from
his fans.
Since his diagnosis, Edward
has raised over 750,000 for ALS
Association through performing at
charity events.
It wasnt easy
being told there wasnt
anything they could do
for me. All I can hope is
that the money I help to
raise can prevent anyone
else losing their lives to
ALS, He exclaimed.
Its something Ive
accepted now, its just the
way it was always meant to be for
me. Its going to get tougher as time
goes on, but for now Im just trying
to make the most of each day. Im
forever thankful to my family for all
their support and love, and all my
friends and fans for theirs too.

Ive never felt so

connected with
the world
Yeah, Ive been pencilled in for
a slot at Glastonbury 2017. Pretty
intense stuff, I havent played to an
audience that big before.
All 135,000 tickets sold out for
Glastonbury 2017 just hours after
the release.
Since entering our lives in late
