Creating Assignment

The students will learn about important Americans who improved lives through a group activity using laptops and the internet. The class will be divided into 6 groups, with each group researching one of the following historical figures: George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony, Helen Keller, Jackie Robinson, or Martin Luther King Jr. Each student will take notes on one fact and one accomplishment of their assigned person. This allows the students to review what they learned about these figures through a collaborative activity using technology.
