Job Responsibilities

Startup & shut down of Turbine Generator with capacity Upto60 MW.

Plant safe activities taken during Blockout& shut down condition.

Participate in Daily meeting & implement the progress practically. Focus the technical problems in the
meeting & solve it.

Some modification also done with my Involvement positively.

Monitoring the values of Turbo supervisory instruments of the ST during start-up, shut down
and normal running of plant.

Major parameters monitoring as following with carefully.Wheel chamber pressue&


Temperature, Governor ,Rotor axial displacement, Main steam pressure, flow, Temperature,
Turbine ,Generator RPM, HP DEMAND ,Oil tank levels, Vaccum pressure &Temperature,
Ejector& Gland sealing Temperature &pressure, CEP ,CST level, Air cooled steam condenser,
Hood spray, Hot well tank level, LP ,HP heaters, Gear box temperature &Vibrations, Bearing
gear motor rotation, Acc fins cleaning, Oil coolers temperature, Bleed extraction control.

AOP,JOP, MOT ,ACT parameter monitoring.

Vibration Reports submission to management.

All Plant Rotary Equipment Operation & Maintenance (Pumps, Blowers, Gearbox, Fans, Filtter&
Strainers etc...).

Knowledge and experience in working in both (Bleed cum condensing and extraction

Calculation & submission of following reports to SHIFT INCHARGE to Every shift. Heat Rate,

turbines).
