From the Principal
The student council will be offering three activities this December
for the students to participate while raising money for Sarah.
On Friday, December 9th they will host a bake sale. This sale is one of
the two that will not follow the healthy snacks guideline. So there will be
different items as compared to the last sale. All goods will be either $.50
or $1.
On Friday, December 16th the council will sponsor a pajamas day. For a
$1 donation your student can wear their pajamas to school.
On Tuesday, December 20th they will sponsor a popcorn day. For $.50
your child can get a bag of popcorn to enjoy.

The Prairie Catholic Christmas Program will be on Wednesday, December 14th, at 6:30pm, in St. Gabriels Church. We will reserve Wednesday,
December 21st as a make-up date in case of postponement.
As we have in the past, the school will host a Christmas Program rehearsal on Tuesday, December 13th at 9:15am in St. Gabriels school.
The students have really enjoyed the new physical education space. The
only drawback they have reported is the added length to run back and
forth!
It was great to see our Prairie Catholic 8th Grade Girls get a win in the
first game in the new gymnasium. Dominique Reilly is the answer to the
future trivia question Who scored the first points in the new gym? Congratulations!
The daycare has moved to its new space and the school would like to
thank those people that helped with the move. As the students and daycare staff get settled, your flexibility will be appreciated. So far the transition has been very good and we hope that will continue.
The Food Drive is in the books and we are proud to say that the school
donated 375 total items! The Kindergarten donated the most with an average of 10 items per child. Congratulations!
The school will check athletic eligibility on Friday, December 2nd.

The school is looking forward to the calendar of events that will be here before you know it the Prairie Catholic Basketball Tournaments. The school
will need volunteers to help work the gates and concession stands. January
14th and 21st are perfect days to get the majority of your volunteer credit
hours completed. Please contact the school if you are interested in helping as
we will need many volunteers.
Please put together your troupe for the Prairie Catholic Talent Show to be
held during Catholic Schools Week. Acts will be screened before the event so
please refer to the information sent in the past. Please contact the office if
you have any questions.
Please do your best to sell the Sweepstakes Calendars you receive, this fundraiser benefits the school.
The Prairie Catholic Daycare has a dedicated phone line. If you would like to
speak to Ms. Stine or Mrs. Schwager please dial the former number (608) 326
