B. COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course aims to equip student-teachers with various Interactive 21st Century ICT tools and technologies,
along with the pedagogies of using them appropriately and effectively across the curriculum. The design and
development of all materials shall involve the innovative and creative application of instructional system design
(ISD) and Instructional design (ID). Each ICT tool shall be discussed from the perspective of its advantages,
limitations and appropriateness of applications. A constructivist approach of learning with new interactive learning
technologies will be given emphasis.

Using Storify, you are required to create an interactive
learning module by curating relevant multimedia components.
Use Blooms taxonomy and the 4 Cs of the 21 st century
education model as the expected outcome of your learning
module
Use Gagnes Events of Instruction as a guideline to prepare
your interactive learning module .
Create at least 3 different interactive quiz
Be bold to use appropriate multimedia componnets to support
effective learning.
Prepare powerpoint slides to show evidence of 9 events of
instruction, 4 Cs and HOTs with the corresponding section of
your learning module. Eg. Slide 1 Names of Group members;
Slide 2 Gaining attention; Slide 3 Objectives ; Slide 11
Critical thinking; Slide 12 Creative thinking; etc.
Project and Assignment (Dr.Azidah) -- 30%
Students are required to create a content for a topic given using
iSpring Authoring Tools.
The content developed should include mobile ready video/audio
narration, quizzes and surveys in an E-learning coures using
powerpoint.
This is an individual project.

EXTENSIVE PROJECT (40%): Wordpress Design & Development
Students are expected to design and develop an EXTENSIVE site
project using Wordpress. This project carries 40% as it involves
20% of the design/development process from scratch (creativity in
tools, plugins, & scripting), and 20% of the teaching and learning
materials embedded in the site created.
