INSIGHT ONTHESIS OBSERVATION
(The Necessity of Participation in the Success of
Community Based Projects)
During the Thesis oral defense by the fourth year political students, we were
able to observe the research on " The Necessity of Participation in the Success of
Community Based Projects" and the researchers were El Phant John Castrodes,
Ronald Salomon and Jesse Ligutom. At first, they presented their research to the
panellist presented their gathered data. During their presentation, there were some
problems encountered such as stuttering while reading the research, unable to
answer some of the questions of the panellist and errors on the grammars of their
research. All in all, considering they had errors and problems, they did a good job in
defending their research. They were able to make a successful research which
clearly shows that they dedicated their selves into making their research.
While we had the privilege of observing the fourth year Political Science
students defend their research, I was able to arrive to a conclusion that it's not
easy and requires a lot of work and dedication in order to conduct a research. A half
assed work won't do and will only lead to a failure. I learned that one should posses
such as the researchers thirst for new information and this willing to go greater
heights in order to investigate on things, A good researcher is observant and sees
something more out of a common occurrence around him, A good researcher must
be intelligent enough to express his ideas through written language because it will
be pointless to gather data and not able to express it in a well written way to the
extent that the readers won't be able to understand what you are implying. All of
this are just some of the traits that I think should posses in order to make a good
research. Everybody has the capability to be able to conduct a good research. Being
good at something can be acquired through dedication and perseverance and does
not easily gives up whenever they encounter problems along the way.
