Provider Ratings Variables Overview

The document lists variables from multiple files that contain healthcare provider ratings data from 2009 to 2011. It includes variables for the provider name, number, location, month, year, and five rating scores coded as character variables with possible values of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, or 90 to represent the number of stars in the rating. The coding of the rating variables is consistent with a standard monthly provider ratings file and two formats are provided to display the ratings as stars or text in outputs.
