Ans: There are 14 verses in this Surah.
Q3: What does the title of the surah mean?
Ans: The title of the Surah means The Row.
Q4: What did Allah(SWT) command the Muslims in this Surah?
Ans: Allah(SWT) commanded the Muslims in this Surah to fight their hostile enemy together in
strong solid rows like a brick wall.
Q5: What lesson do we get from this Surah?
Ans: The lesson of this Surah stresses the importance of unity and working together. Allah(SWT)
wants every Muslim to be strong and to support other Muslims so that the Muslim Wall
becomes strong.

Ans: All creations praise Allah(SWT) and glorify Him.

opposite is the first step toward hypocrisy.

Abu Hurayrah (RA) narrated that Rasoolullah(SAW) said:
The signs of a hypocrite are three; he lies when he speaks, he breaks his promise, and he betrays
the trust.
Reported in Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Q4: What is the proper meaning of Jihad?
Ans: The Arabic term Al-Jihad fee sabeelillah is usually translated, Fighting
for the sake of Allah(SWT). A more accurate translation is The struggle on Allahs(SWT) path.
Q4: What did Allah(SWT) order the Muslims to do when facing the enemies?
Ans: Allah(SWT) ordered them to go on Jihad and fight their evil enemies.

Ans: As-Sirat-ul-Mustaqeem is the straight path.
Q2. Why was this Surah revealed?
And:When the command for Jihad became known, a number of companions started to backtrack
because they were afraid of making Jihad and getting killed. So Allah(SWT) revealed these verses.

fighting or war. Yet as Muslims know, Jihad is also a personal struggle.
