ADAPT-SOG Design Process

The document describes the slab-on-grade design process using ADAPT-SOG software. The process involves: (1) importing a DWG file and converting it to structural components, (2) applying loads and soil properties, (3) generating post-tensioning tendons and a finite element mesh, (4) generating design strips in two directions to model edge and center lifting conditions, and (5) checking stresses on automatically generated design sections.

(a) DWG file imported into ADAPT-SOG.

(b) Imported drawing is converted into structural

components.

(d) Loads are applied on the structure and soil

properties specified.

(c) Post-tensioning tendons are generated.

(e) Finite Element mesh is generated.
