Assignment 2:

Super Shampoo

Your analysis should at least answer but not limited to the following;
1. What are the category beliefs among the non users of shampoos?
2. Compare and contrast the cognitive and affective beliefs of three brands of
shampoos based on their advertisement?
3. Using perceptual mapping guidance and overall analysis of the case;
a) How should a new shampoo be launched?
b) What would be key characteristics of your brand
c) Develop a concept for your brand as well?

Your analysis should be limited to a maximum of three pages for text and two
pages for exhibits. Key concepts learned, if applied, within the course or other
courses will fetch greater marks. Be aware of your analysis as it should based on
logical justifications and rigorous reasoning rather ordinary facts. Data,
unreasonably, fitted will result in loss of grade.
Your grade will revolve around the following;
Deep Analysis of the case
Rigorous and profound thinking
Effective presentation
Style and structure of the language used
Relevant and highly specified recommendations
Coherency is the food of your analysis
Following the formatting (1.5 line spacing, 1 inch margin all sides, Times
New roman, 12 inch font size.)
Your scale of grade is;
A----------Exceptionally well done
b----------Highly appreciable and accounts for majority of things
C----------Average analysis, writing and coherency with presentation also average.
D---------Below average effort, needs re-work, lack of coherency etc
F---------Poor effort, doesnt deserve a pass, needs major improvements, lack of
focus, coherency and analysis as well.
