About Symphonic Suite
The purpose of Symphonic Suite was to create the best possible orchestral voices coming from a XS.
The first intension was to made better orchestral voices. Voices that sounds more realistic and pure.
The second intension was to use as much as possible the articulation-functions of the synth (AF1&2,
AS 1&2, Modulation and pitch wheel, XA-mod, Arpeggios etc.) to recreate the articulations of the
instruments in real time.
The third intension was to use only internal waveforms, so there is no loading time and there is no sample
memory required.
You can use the Voice- and Articulation list to locate the voices you need and to discover the articulations of
Symphonic Suite.
Loading the voice bank
Motif XS
Save all the data from your Motif XS on an USB storage device or computer.
If you've downloaded this product, unzip it on your harddrive.
Copy the file you need (GVL Symphonic Suite.X0V) to the usb storage device. It's also possible to load
the bank directly from your computer by using the Editor (Symphonic Suite.X0E).
Connect the USB storage device to your Motif XS. Go to the file menu and load the file
(X0V = All Voice file).
You will find the bank in Userbank 1&2 of the voice mode.
S90/70 XS
Save all the data from your S90/70 XS on an USB storage device or computer.
If you've downloaded this product, unzip it on your harddrive.
Copy the file you need (GVL Symphonic Suite.X0V) to the usb storage device. It's also possible to load
the bank directly from your computer by using the Editor (Symphonic Suite.X2E).
Connect the USB storage device to your Synth. Go to the file menu and load the file
(X0V = All Voice file).
You will find the bank in Userbank 1&2 of the voice mode.
Motif XS Rack
Save all the data from your Motif XS Rack by using your editor and save your user file on your
computer.
If you've downloaded this product, unzip it on your harddrive.
Load the bank on your XS rack editor (Symphonic Suite.X1E) and bulk it from your computer to your
XS Rack.
You will find the bank in Userbank 1&2 of the voice mode.
Total Librarian File
Users who have the John Melas Total Librarian can Symphonic Suite.allxs on they software.
Save all the data from your synth by using Total Librarian.
If you've downloaded this product, unzip it on your harddrive.
Load the bank directly from your computer (Symphonic Suite.allxs) by using the Total Librarian bulk
function.
You will find the bank in Userbank 1&2 of the voice mode.
