Nature of Work
Ensuring quality at all stages of production (input, in-process and output) and job is done
as per required specification.
Ensure the job quality at the highest level possible and maintain a positive client
perception of the work has been completed.
Inspection of raw and standard material i.e. Plates, Pipes, fittings etc. to ensure conform
to codes and specification.(Traceability)
Prepare the inspection reports and maintain the all quality documents.
Welding and dimensional Inspection at fabrication yard.
Monitor subcontractors all the welding related activities.
Witness the subcontractors Procedure and performance (welders) qualification, Mechanical
testing.
Reviewing & prepare the documents like PQR, WPS, Weld map, ITP etc.
Perform Inspection activities on joint Fit-Up & weld visual in the structures and pipes.
Reviewing the inspection and testing methods and procedures for Radiographic, Dye
penetrant, Magnetic Particle inspections.
Evaluate and interpret all discontinuities in R.T, U.T, M.T, & P.T. Also witnessing the NDT
test like UT, MT and PT with TP inspectors. RT film interpretation.
Follow up the construction drawings, prepare and maintain the inspection records.
Issue of nonconformance reports and corrective action reports if failure in maintaining
quality on work site.
Ensuring all work is correctly prepared & documented prior to any inspection being
undertaken-conduct all in process inspection for compliance.
Assist the site TP inspector in the client, for maintenance and control of the quality system
documentation wise.
Liaison with the client and project execution team on quality related issue.
Assist the Company inspector and construction supervisor in resolving any discrepancies
and ambiguities.
Coordinate with the company/TP inspectors for the resolution of site problems.
Assist the site supervisors in the resolution of drawing interpretation and corrective
actions.
Attended the weekly QC meetings and Review of work procedures and method statements
for compliance with good work practices.
The completion of QC site instructions and coordinate their closure & review of inspection
test packages during the course of construction activities.
