theCaliforniaConstitution,ArticleVI,Section10,becausethiscaseisacausenotgivenby
statutetoothertrialcourts.
3. ThisCourthasjurisdictionoverallDefendantsbecauseallDefendantsare
Californiaresidents.
4. Venueisproperbecausethecausesofactionstatedhereinaroseinthisjudicial
district.VenueisfurtherproperinthisCourtbecause:
(a)TheContractwastobeperformedinthisCounty
(b)DefendantWalterJonesresidesinthisCounty
(c)DefendantJonesPaintinghasitprincipalplaceofbusinessinthisCounty
(d)PlaintiffJohnAdamsresidesinthisCounty.

5. Plaintiff,JohnAdams(Plaintiff)isanindividualwhoresidesintheCountyof
Marin,StateofCalifornia.
6. DefendantWalterJohnsonisanindividualwhoresidesintheCountyofMarin,
StateofCalifornia,andDefendantJonesPainting,Inc.isaCaliforniaCorporationwithprincipal
placeofbusinesslocatedintheCountyofMarin,StateofCalifornia(hereaftercollectively
referredtoasDefendants).
7. PlaintiffisignorantofthetruenamesandcapacitiesofDefendantssuedhereinas
DOES1through50,inclusive,andthereforesuesthesedefendantsbysuchfictitiousnames.
Plaintiffwillamendthiscomplainttoallegetheirtruenamesandcapacitieswhenascertained.

10. InconsiderationfortheLoan,DefendantsexecutedaPromissoryNote(theNote)
inwhichtheypromisedtorepaytheLoan.AtrueandcorrectcopyoftheNoteisattachedhereto
asExhibitA.
11. RepaymentoftheNotewasdueonoraboutAugust1,2012.OnAugust10,2012,
PlaintiffdemandedrepaymentoftheNote.
12. Tothefilingofthisaction,DefendantshavefailedandrefusedtorepaytheLoan
andtheNote.
13. DefendantsarethereforeinbreachoftheNoteandtheentireprincipalof
$10,000.00plusinterestattherateof3%fromFebruary1,2012untiljudgmentisentered.
WHEREFORE,PlaintiffpraysforjudgmentagainstDefendantsasfollows:
1. Fordamagesintheamountof$10,000.00
2. ForinterestonthatsumfromFebruary1,2012untilthedatejudgmentisimposed
