Here
are
the
steps
to
creating
a
basic
Prezi
presentation
assuming
you’ve
never
done
so
and
need
to
begin
by
getting
a
Prezi
account.
Point
your
favorite
web
browser
to
www.prezi.com.
(It
doesn’t
matter
which
browser
you
use;
Prezi’s
a
flash-‐based
application
that
works
with
any
flash-‐enabled
browser!)
On
the
homepage
of
Prezi,
click
on
“Sign
Up.”
(Or,
if
you
want
to
learn
more
about
Prezi,
click
the
link
provided
.
.

)
Scroll
down
a
little
bit,
and
click
on
“Student/Teacher
Licenses.”
(Prezi
provides
free
upgraded
licenses
to
students
and
teachers
who
provide
a
valid
.edu
email
address!)
On
the
Student/Teacher
Licenses
page,
click
“Get”
under
the
free
Edu
Enjoy
column.
On
a
new
page,
Prezi
will
ask
for
your
.edu
email
address
and
will
send
a
registration
email
to
that
address.
When
the
email
arrives,
click
the
link
in
the
email
and
provide
the
information
needed
to
establish
your
account.

Now
that
you
have
created
an
account
with
Prezi.com,
each
time
you
log
in,
you’ll
find
your
profile
page.
As
you
add
Prezis,
they’ll
accumulate
on
your
profile
page.
Creating
Your
First
Prezi

presentation,
on
your
profile
page,
click
on
“Create
New
Prezi.”

Then
fill
out
the
title,
description
(optional),

and
choose
a
template.
Once
you’ve
filled
out
the
title
and
optional

picked
a
template,
click
on
“Create.”

When
your
Prezi
opens,
it
will
look
like
this.
The
Wheel
in
the
upper
left
corner
is
the
controller
for
what
you
want
to
do
in
Prezi.
By
default,
it
is
set
to
“Write.”
To
write
something,
double
click
anywhere
on
the
background,
and
a
text
box
will
appear.
Type
what
you
want
inside
the
box.
To
insert
a
file
or
a
shape,
click
on
the
circle
in
the
Wheel
named
“Insert.”
Then
choose
“load
file”
if
you
want
to
add
a
file
from
your
computer.
To
add
a
simple
shape,
click
on
“shapes”
To
place
a
frame
around
an
object
or
text,
click
on
“frame”
in
the
Wheel.
Select
how
you
want
to
frame
the
item,
then
drag
and
drop
a
frame
around
the
item.
To
return
to
“Write,”
click
in
the
solid
color
corner
of
the
screen.

To
move
something
in
your
presentation,
Click
on
the
“Write”
portion
of
the
Wheel.
Then,
click
on
the
item
you
want
to
move.
A
blue
circle
will
appear
on
top
of
the
item.
Click
and
drag
using
the
vertical
lines
in
the
middle
to
move
the
item
to
its
new
location.
To
change
the
size
of
an
item,
click
and
drag
horizontally
the
solid
inner
circles.
Drag
outward
to
enlarge
the
size
of
text;
drag
inward
to
reduce
the
size.
To
rotate
an
item,
click
and
drag
the
dashed
outer
ring.
You
have
360
degrees
of
rotation!

corner

circle

Paths
are
how
Prezi
moves
from
one
item
to
the
next.
To
add
a
path,
click
“Path”
in
the
Wheel.
Click
“1-‐2-‐Add,”
Now
click
on
the
first
item
you
want
to
show
up
in
your
presentation,
then
the
second,
and
so
on.
A
numbered
line
will
appear,
just
like
you’re
“connecting
the
dots.”

Showtime!!
You’ve
created
items
and
established
an
order
path.
It’s
time
to
see
your
Prezi
in
action.
In
the
Wheel,
click
on
the
grey
“Show”
circle,
then
click
“Full
Screen.”
In
the
lower
right
corner
of
the
screen,
you’ll
find
a
set
of
navigation
tools.
• The
two-‐headed
arrow
icon
launches
into
or
returns
from
full
screen.
• The
single
left-‐pointing
arrow
is
the
“back”
button
(click
and
hold
to
get
a
“return
to
beginning”
icon).
• The
larger
single
right-‐pointing
arrow
is
the
“next”
button.
(click
and
hold
to
get
options
for
auto
advancing
in
4,
10,
or
20
second
increments).
To
return
to
the
editing
screen,
move
your
mouse
to
the
upper
left
corner.
When
the
Wheel
appears,
click
the
solid
color
corner.
Saving
is
AUTOMATIC
Just
so
you
know,
Prezi
auto-‐saves
so
you
don’t
have
to.
To
save
it
yourself,
place
your
mouse
over
“Saved
at
XX:XX”
in
the
upper
right
corner
of
the
editing
screen
and
click
on
“Save
Now.”
