Sunday April 11 we celebrate Holy Humor Sunday. We’ll tell
some jokes, laugh, and be a joyous community. Why are we April 22-24 at Central

One Huge Thank You


Wow! The Living Last Supper, Maundy Thursday presentation was once again, exceptional.
Over 300 people witnessed this powerful musical drama and setting for our 2010 Pastor’s
Class First Communion. So, to all who contributed of your time and talent, a huge Thank
You! The acting was terrific and the music was both powerful and moving. My special thanks
to the musical support of Marilynn Brown and the choir and to Frank and Debby Gresh for
their audio-visual support.
And as usual, nothing this special happens without the behind-the-scenes support of
people like Sherry Parks, Karla and Robert Rowley, Randle Lee and the Worship Committee,
David and Karri Smith, and every
member of the church staff. Just to

Worship Disciple-cise is a new program sponsored by the Parish Nurse Committee. It’s
simple, fun, and FREE! And ANYONE can participate. It’s done on your time, your
at First Christian 8:15, 9 & 11am way, with your chosen activities. Anything goes - running, walking, gardening,
swimming, sports, housework and laundry all count - be creative!
April 11, 2010 Participants keep track of the amount of time they exercise, which is
Holy Humor Sunday! translated into miles. Thirty minutes of exercise equals a distance of 50 miles.
