So often when we look around us, were surrounded by lack, shortage and suffering.

The world has become accustomed to this, and many


people just accept it as a normal way of life. The good news is that as Christians, we dont have to settle for anything less than overflowing
abundance. We can claim it by spiritually envisioning it in our lives.
The devil tries to beat us down with a spirit of lack and shortage, but that spirit no longer has power over us. In heaven there is no shortage
of anything, and Gods will is to bless us with abundance in our lives. In the Lords Prayer, the words Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in
earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10) can apply to that manifestation. Visualizing abundant life through faith in Him is the first step in the
process.
To reiterate this point, Jesus puts it quite plainly. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). God wants to rain down those blessings on us until they overflow.
Thats not the norm according to the worlds standards, so when He does this, people notice.
The right vision is an important component of claiming the abundant life God has for us. God is not referring to our physical eyes but our
spiritual eyes. When we cant see what God is doing in our livesor refuse to acknowledge itwe struggle uselessly.
On the other hand, when we align our words and thoughts with His, we open the floodgates to allow the blessings to flow freely. Everything
that we could possibly ever need for a happy, victorious life has been made available through the finished works of Jesus. But He loves us so
much that He wont force it on us. He allows us to choose for ourselves.
What many people may not realize is that theres a tremendous battle going on right now for our hearts and minds. The devil will try his best
to deceive us into the what you see is what you get mentality, and tell us that this is all there is to life. But we have more than enough in
Jesus. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Dont be fooled by the word riches, because Gods riches go far beyond just money. They can include a happy marriage, good health,
strong friendships, healthy family relationships, peace, wisdom, and everything good that comes from Him. But claiming these blessings
depends on our mindset, and what we believe in our hearts.
What we think in our minds eventually goes down into our hearts, and whatever we believe about ourselves in our hearts will come to pass.
We are Gods beloved children, and just like any earthly father, He will take care of His own. When we believe that, what has already been
unleashed in heaven will be unleashed on earth. When it does, we can give Him the glory.
