INTRODUCTION:Innovation begins in the classroom - clean energy and climate, addressing the climate issues in
an innovative way to keep us number one and competitive in the world with the new technology.
Before [Link] nightingale the nursing scenario was very pathetic,unhygienic and
[Link] [Link] nightingale thought of the solutions with the great innovative
[Link] succeed to a great extent to improve the health laws,to reform the hospitals to reorganize
military medical services and establish nursing as a profession with the two missions(sick
nursing and health nursing)
Nurses are now becomimg more and more innovative to find out solutions to their problemsolving tool set to address and manage the challenges of contemporary healthcare
organizations,the nurse innovator sees the world and routine work with different [Link] ask
more questions they require more explanations and the main thing is that they are not afraid to
try innovations in safe framework.
DEFINITION:Innovation is the process of developing new approaches, technologies and ways of working.
INNOVATIONS IN NURSIING EDUCATION:E-LEARNING:-Adaptation of different distant learning technologies, self-directed, active
learning, refocusing from educator to the subject.

SERVICE LEARNING:-Achieves balance between service and learning objective.


TELE-LEARNING:- Online model of educator-learner,promotes discovery learning
MICRO-TEACHING:- Miniature class room teaching,small duration,paying full attention to
the unit and skill
NURSING INFORMATICS:- Integrates Nursing science,computer science and information
science
EXPANSION AND GLOBLIZATION OF EDUCATION: Demands for more and higher levels of education (rise in student numbers, programmes,
diversity).
Knowledge-based, technologically driven society.
GREATER FLEXIBILITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR: Student profile is changing - demographic shifts , trend to lifelong learning.
More opportunities to up-grade levels of knowledge and skills - demand for continuing
education.
Any time, any place, part-time or full-time education.
New systems of recognition and certification.
Systems to acknowledge educational achievements attained outside a higher education
context, including informal learn.
PRIVATIZATION OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION: Competition between public and private institutions to attract students grows.
New provider such as multimedia corporations, multinationals.

CONCLUSION:- Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.

Nurses should identify the innovation activities within organization or in other organizations, the
