ALL-MODE 4x4 i-TRANSMISSION
A choice of three modes:
AUTO Mode (default mode when starting): The All-Mode 4x4
i-transmission system guarantees best possible traction in all
conditions by permanently optimising the torque split to the four
driven wheels - those which benefit from the most grip, receive more
torque.
LOCK Mode: In more difficult conditions and at speeds of less than
40 km/hr, torque is evenly distributed to the front and rear wheels,
allowing the Koleos to showcase its 4x4 ability.
2WD Mode: The two-wheel drive mode is ideally suited for dry roads
or highway driving.
CRUISE CONTROL &
SPEED LIMITER
Cruise control allows you to cruise at a
fixed speed using controls on the steering
wheel without the strain of using the
accelerator. The speed limiter helps you
govern and limit the top speed of the car
SMART ACCESS CARD
while in cruise control mode.
The vehicle detects the presence
of the i-Key. Simply touching the
handle or the boot lid unlocks the
vehicle.
6-SPEED AUTOMATIC GEARBOX
The 6-speed automatic gearbox, whose ratios
are perfectly matched to the engine's output,
gives you excellent drivability in stop-and-go city
traffic and also gives you the ability to cruise at a
high speed on the highway.

HILL-START ASSISTANCE
During a hill-start, the brake pressure is maintained
automatically for 2 seconds so that the driver can
manoeuvre with ease.
HILL-DESCENT CONTROL

Activated by a button on the dashboard, the
hill-descent control function assists in maintaining a
constant speed (approximately 7 km/hr). The
driver only has to control the steering wheel,
while the system automatically controls the
brakes and the accelerator.
The Renault Koleos is a high-level performance vehicle with improved safety for all, including the driver, the
passengers and also pedestrians. Safety is Renault's primary focus. In this regard, the Koleos is fitted with a
combination of cruise control and a speed limiter. Youll find automatic headlight illumination and windscreen wiper
activation in case of rain. Parking assistance and hill-start assistance complete this system. The Koleos also boasts
of an excellent quick correction ability during times when the driver is facing a dangerous situation. The ESP system
controls and corrects the trajectory, while braking assistance reduces the distance on stopping. To operate on
challenging roads, the Koleos is equipped with a speed stabiliser set at 7 km/hr while descending even the steepest
slopes. On-board protection, especially for children, is ensured.
