Easter Kit 2 Detailed Activity List

Things you will need from home are listed with each activity (NFH)
For all magnet pages:
a. Place page on cookie sheet.
b. Put a magnet on each of the circles
c. Afterward, use your dot painter to fill in the dots
All handwriting pages are included but there are no instructions 

1. Play dough mountain (NFH: 1.5 cups water, 1 tbsp water, large bowl)
a. Included in kit: Dry ingredients, pipe cleaners, twigs, aluminum can
b. See separate paper with instructions
2. Egg carton transfer (NFH: tongs)
a. Included in kit: pompoms, egg carton
b. Use tongs to move and count eggs (pompoms) into an egg carton
3. Finger paint & tape cross (NFH: finger paint or regular paint, masking
tape)
a. Included in kit: construction paper
b. Make a cross with masking tape on construction paper
c. Paint entire paper
d. When dry, remove tape
4. Make resurrection rolls (NFH: ¼ cup melted butter, baking sheet)
a. Included in kit: Crescent rolls, marshmallows, cinnamon & sugar
b. See separate page for directions
5. Make Easter picture frame (NFH: Picture for frame)
a. Included in kit: Foam frame
b. Using foam stickers from last week, decorate frame
6. Paint Play dough mountain from yesterday (NFH: paint, paint brush)
a. Included in kit: nothing
b. Paint mountain from yesterday which should be all cooked now
7. Easter Story sequencing (NFH: nothing)
a. Included in kit: 6 cards representing the Easter Story
b. Put cards in order that they happen in the Easter Story
8. Easter Puzzle (NFH: optional glue & construction paper)
a. Included in kit: 6 piece cross puzzle
b. Put puzzle together. If you want, glue to construction paper after putting
together a couple times.
9. Handprint Wreath (NFH: Glue, scissors)
a. Included in kit: construction paper in three colors
b. Trace handprint three times per color
c. Cut out handprints
d. Glue into wreath
e. Decorate as you want, you could use more foam stickers
10. Egg relay (NFH: kitchen spoon)
a. Included in kit: bowls, plastic eggs
b. Place two bowls some distance apart (like 10 feet)
c. Using a large kitchen spoon, transfer plastic eggs from one bowl to the
other without dropping it. For a challenge, if they drop it, they have to
start back at the beginning with that egg.
11. Place items in an Easter Basket (NFH: nothing)
a. Included in kit:, poem, basket (from last kit)
b. Read poem and go on a scavenger hunt around your house to find
something of each color
12. Easter dice game (NFH: Glue)
a. Included in kit: Dice template, Dice game
b. Use foam stickers as markers. Roll the die, and each time a number is
rolled, you get to move that marker ahead one space!
13. Oval Collage (NFH: glue / glue stick)
a. Included in kit: Various ovals, construction paper
b. Glue ovals to paper in whatever way you want
