Miss Bird is running a workshop for all
Reception class parents and volunteer
helpers in school on Wednesday 25th
November from 2.45pm to 3.10pm.

Packed Lunches/School Dinners


If your child normally has packed
lunches but requires a school dinner on
a particular day, please let the office
know in advance or, at the very latest,
by 9.30am on the day. Numbers are
submitted to the kitchen on a daily
basis; changes must be notified or
dinners will not be ordered.

1st Cottam Beaver Scouts


every Thursday at Cottam
Community Centre from 6.00pm to
7.00pm.
If your son or daughter is 6 years old
and would like to join 1st Cottam
Beavers or to put their name on the

A reminder to parents that the
school has a responsibility to
keep children safe from harm
and protect them from danger.
We will contact you if we have
any concerns about your childs
safety or well-being and, if
necessary, we will not hesitate to
refer the matter to Childrens
Social Care. Mrs Gregory is the
designated senior person (DSP) in
charge of Child Protection and
Safeguarding. Our Child
Protection Policy can be found on

PTFA Fundraising Evening


Featuring Phil Cool (Impressionist)
Joe Martin (Singer and Songwriter)
Gary Skyner (Comedian)
This is a new and exciting event organised by the PTFA to raise funds for our school. The date is Friday 13th
November 2015 at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club starting at 7.00pm for 7.30pm Dinner.
Tables of 8/10 are available. Tickets are priced at 25 (cheques payable to Harris PTA). School will keep a
list of individuals/couples to make up tables.

Sports Clubs
There will be no Football Club now
until further notice due to upcoming
tournaments and fading light!

Reception Class Photographs will be appearing in the

Lancashire Evening Post on Thursday 5 th November. If you would


like to order a copy of the photograph, please telephone
Photosales on 0330 123 0203. We will not be ordering photographs
through school this year.
