Overall control of the execution of Electrical work in BTG area in close coordination with the other civil and mechanical group
Coordinate BTG and BOP contractors and interfaces to achieve the power plant schedule without delays, claims and counter
claims.
3. Attend weekly progress meetings.
4. Review of BTG and BOP Contractor weekly and monthly progress reports.
5. Assemble weekly and monthly progress reports for BTG and BOP electrical scope.
6. Ensure BTG and BOP contractor comply with all safety health and environmental requirements of the project and manuals
including electrical safety during erection and commissioning
7. Ensure BTG / BOP execution complies with the project schedule
8. Ensure the BTG / BOP execution comply with the contract quality
9. Responsible for the attendance to Contractors ITPs for electrical construction and erection
10. Assist in the turnover of systems to commissioning while ensuring the pending items are tracked for completion

Job Description :

Management of health and safety aspects of work at the site through implementation of agreed procedures and processes.
Involvement during the commissioning of the respective packages for safe commissioning.
Responsible for safe Installation of Generator & Generator protection relay including excitation systems.
Responsible for installation of high voltage equipments in substation,
Responsible for installation of Generator Transformer, Unit auxiliary transformer & Reserve/Station auxiliary Transformer.
Responsible for Medium & Low voltage switchgear installation.
Responsible for Primary and secondary cable laying & termination, Grounding works & illumination works of the plant.
Provide day-to-day oversight of the Contractors during the project completion cycle.
Monitor and track progress against the project schedule, and provide daily updates of status.
Monitor the quality of the construction work, and manage the notification and rectification/punch listing any deficiencies.
Review as built drawings and Operation and Maintenance manuals.
Attend and provide input to plant interface coordination meetings.
Any other tasks directed by the Line Manager.

Coordinate with BHEL/BGRE site erection engineer for day to day execution of work as per construction schedule.
Attended daily site meeting with contractors and coordinate to ensure that the work is being carried out as per proper
sequence and methodology.
4. Carryout micro-level monitoring of work progress.
5. Identify any progress bottleneck for daily reporting.
6. Report any non-conformance to the concerned lead engineer for timely action.
7. Compare daily progress against the scope and reports it for weekly progress monitoring.
8. Attend weekly progress meetings.
9. Attend all the inspections with concerned quality coordinator during erection of equipments.
10. Assist in the turnover of systems to commissioning while ensuring the pending items are tracked for completion.
11. Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
