Aldersgate will once again be
hosting the womens homeless
shelter Nov. 7-14. If you are not
familiar with this ministry, the
program provides shelter and a
pillow for every head during the
cold winter months. We will be
collecting items through Nov. 1.
Donation boxes are in the Reed
Room. A full list of needed items
can be found in the Autumn
Aldersgate Alive in the Narthex
or on the church website.
Monetary contributions will be
accepted through Nov. 15 which
will be used to buy food and
paper goods during the week and
help with other expenses related
to hosting the program. Make
your check payable to AUMC
with PACEM in the memo.
There will be many opportunities
to help, including overnight staff,
help with serving meals, helping
setup or take down the cots,
laundry and greeting. Please visit
the signup station located in the
Reed Room. Contact Deb
Reynolds (295-8217), Leatha
Harlow (975-0633) or Nancy
Berman (973-6555).

God, build your church. From brokenness and indifference,
build love and caring for you, for each other, and for your creation.
God build your church, from self-centeredness and independence,
build friendship and compassion.
God build your church, from mistrust and misunderstanding,
build unity and togetherness.
May we be built together into the living body of Christ,
in a spirit of love and joy. Amen.

Trunk or Treat will be Sunday,
October 25th from 4-6pm in the
lower parking lot at AUMC. We're
in need of folks to decorate their
vehicle trunks and pass out candy.
This year there will be a prize for
the best decorated vehicle! We're
also in need of lots of candy
donations to use when those at
their vehicles run out. (Hundreds
of kids = we need LOTS of candy!)
There is a bin in the Narthex for
donations of candy. THANK YOU!

Please take a moment to fill out this
