FRAMEWORK
English is a very important language in todays global society. Its the language of business, of the internet and
modern culture. The English Course for Beginners 1 is designed for adults looking to improve their proficiency in
English more effectively in todays fast-paced global economy. It has a very practical nature and aims to give
trainees basic skills to communicate in academic and work environment. The English Course for Beginners 1
intends to provide language training in a small group environment so our classrooms hold a maximum of 12
students. The course has a duration of 32.5 hours, spread over 13 sessions of 2.5 hours each. The curricular
structure of the course obeys to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

OBJECTIVES

TARGET AUDIENCE
Our English courses are designed for those who want to learn a new language or develop their present
knowledge for private, educational or professional reasons.
During the lessons trainees will learn communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. The lessons cover
grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and skills practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing. The teacher will
use a wide variety of materials and exercises including role-plays, authentic recorded material, newspapers and
magazines.
