ThismanualexplainshowtousetheRISCOGroupUpload/Downloadsoftwaresupporting
RISCOGroupSecuritySystems.ByusingtheUpload/Downloadsoftware,youcanmanagethe
paneldatabaseofyourclients,youcanprogramanyofthepanelsfromyourownPC,selectingthe
featuresyourequirefromthemanydescribedinthismanual.Youcancustomizeeachpanelinline
withthespecialrequirementsoftheclient.Thiscanbedoneattheclientspremiseswithadirect
linktoalaptopcomputer,orfromaremotelocationviaaphoneconnectionusingamodem,GSM
orviaIPusingACM(availableforProSYS).
Upload/Downloadsoftwarealsoenablesyoutocoordinatetheactivitiesofyouroperators,aswell
asmaintainingrecordsofbothoperatorsactivitiesandcustomizedconfigurationsthroughanon
linestatusdisplay.Youcanuploadfromthepaneltoyourcomputertomakechangeswhenneeded
andthendownloadfromyourcomputertothepanelwiththenewsetupthatyouhaveprepared.
Beforeyoustart,readstraightthroughtotheendofchapter4.Thiswillfamiliarizeyouwiththe
conventionsused,andprepareyoutogoaheadwiththeactualmenuoptions.Section4.3,Howto
Proceed,containsaflowchartwiththeactualstepstobetakenandshouldbeconsultedbeforeyou
actuallystartworkingwiththeprogram.
