London Bus Workers' Strike Update

[1] The bus strikes in London were suspended on October 22nd after companies took legal action, but the union chair says this is only a temporary setback and the campaign for equal pay and good conditions will continue. [2] He views the current situation as being at a red light that will eventually turn green for the workers. The union will not abandon its members and is prepared for a long fight across London through ballots and leafleting if necessary. [3] The chair believes the companies are being deliberately obstructive but the union will not be deterred from pursuing the workers' mandate to its conclusion, even if further ballots are required to address any procedural issues raised by the companies.
