GENERAL
//WM protection tube is made from a drawn, top-welded
tube. //WH thermowell is a drilled stainless steel barthere
are no welded partsso it has considerable mechanical
strength, and is suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure
processes. It can be pipe threads mounted or flange
mounted (fixed flange). The operating temperature range
depends on the thermocouple or resistance temperature
sensor and on the tube materialso they should be chosen
together.

This coverused to protect the metallic protection tube or
thermowell from corrosioncan be used with the fixed
flange mounting type of insertion length 100 to 1000 mm
and flange nominal size 15 to 40 A. Thickness of the cover
is approximately 1.25 to 1.75 mm. This tetrafluoroethylenehexafluoropropylene copolymer can withstand almost all
corrosive conditions and can be used in the temperature
range -200 to +180 8C. (Specify insertion length (mm) as
of the option code suffix.)
