1.3 INSTALLATION

AND PACKAGING

11

r Installation requirements
To ensure that exercising with the equipment is easy, safe and effective, the place where it is
used should comply with certain specific requirements; in particular, before choosing the place
where the equipment will be installed, please ensure that:
-

the temperature is between +10 and +25;

air renewal is sufficient to ensure a humidity level, whilst exercising, between 20% and
90%;
lighting is sufficient to ensure that exercising takes place in pleasant and relaxing conditions;
there is sufficient free space all around the equipment, for safety purposes, to prevent
obstruction during movement;
the surface is stable, flat, and vibration free, and capable of supporting the required weight.

If the equipment is installed in a public place of entertainment, its location must comply with
all the suitability requirements laid down in current legislation on the subject.

r Unpacking
The equipment is supplied strapped onto
a wooden pallet, and protected with shockproof Stratocell profiles and wrapped in a
cartene bag.

1.3.1 Lifting and movement of equipment

The castors should be used to move the equipment.

DANGER
Move the equipment very carefully, to prevent loss of stability.
The castors are fitted by lifting the equipment and pressing them into the ends of the legs.
Lift the equipment using a transpallet or forklift truck only inserted on the weight stack
side; for increased safety insert a wedge
under the frame to support the equipment.

WARNING
It is advisable to insert padding
between the frame and the wedge
and between the frame and the lifting equipment.

99834151

Insert the two unidirectional wheels on either

side of the weight stack: insert the pins (A) of
the castors into the holes in the ends of the
legs of the equipment, then press home.

WARNING
When the equipment is lifted, please
do not press against the protective
weight stack housing.

99834031

WARNING
During cleaning do not exert excess pressure on the safety labels and instructions.
To lubricate the guide rails of the weight stack:
- remove any dust and residual oil with a damp cloth;
- spread a light film of vaseline oil on the guide rails.

WARNING
Make absolutely certain that there is no excess oil in the equipment.

the weight stack cable using the adjuster (C),
after loosening the lock nut (B).

C
B

INFORMATION
To pull the cable taut after
replacement, it may be helpful, when

2.3 HOW TO USE

CORRECTLY

27

2.3 How to use correctly

-

Use of the equipment is subject to a medical evaluation in relation to the intended type of
exercise, and compliance with the conditions of use laid down by the manufacturer.

Use the equipment only for the type of exercise for which it is intended, and according to
the methods and under the conditions stated in this manual.

Persons suffering from certain physical conditions may only use the equipment under the
strict supervision of a doctor with specific competency in this area.

Build up your training according to your own ergonomic characteristics and state of health,
starting with undemanding loads.

Training shoes and clothing suitable for physical activity should be worn; garments that
prevent perspiration should not be worn.

Should you feel unwell during training (dizziness, chest pain, etc.), stop exercising
immediately and consult a doctor.

At the beginning of each exercise, make sure you are in the correct position, and that
none of the parts of the equipment are in your way.

Keep hands away from the weight stack during use.

Do not spray water near the equipment.

Do not leave the equipment outside, or expose it to the elements (rain, sun, etc.).

Equipment in the Selection range should only be used for the purpose for which it was
designed, or for exercises with counterweights. Any other use should be considered
