Meet the Fairfax FFA Officer Team

What an exciting year it
has been! Our chapter is about
to turn 74 years old in March,
and we have had numerous
members with outstanding
accomplishments over the
past year. Let us take a minute
to introduce ourselves!
My name is Halle Sutter
and I am currently serving as
the Fairfax FFA president.
I am a junior at Fairfax
High School and hold the
Chapter FFA Degree. I am the
daughter of Tim and Leslie
Sutter. My best memory
in FFA was going to State

Convention my freshman
year. When I went to State
Convention that year I was
introduced to Andys Frozen
Custard, which is the best ice
cream I have ever had. Also
when we got to our hotel that
evening there was a tornado
warning and we had to go
to the basement of our hotel
for awhile. I also enjoyed
gathering in our hallway
at the hotel with other FFA
members and talking and
ordering in pizza.
My name is Garrett Ball
andI currently serve as the

2014-15 Fairfax FFA vicepresident. I am a junior at

Fairfax High Schooland hold
the Chapter FFA Degree.I
am the son of Jim and Rhonda
Ball.If I could be any farm
animal, I would be a pig.My
best memory in FFA would be
learning my new hobby, trap
shooting, with my new friend
Alyssa Beck. I enjoy getting to
be competitive with not only
members of my chapter but
FFA members from around
the area.

daughter of Mike and Robin
Lewis and Terry and Lori
Hopkins. My best memory
in FFA is going to State
Conventionm
y freshman and
sophomore years with some of
my best friends. I have made
some of my favorite memories
in high school during FFA
activities and I cant wait to
make more this year and next.
FFA is a very important part
to our school and community
and I would like to thank
everyone who puts in their
time and effort to support us.
My name is Alyssa
Garrison a
nd I am currently
serving as the 2014-15
chapter sentinel.
I am a
sophomore at Fairfax High
Schoo
l and
currently hold
the Greenhand FFA Degree.I
am the daughter ofDoug and
Angela Garrison.If I could be
any farm animal I would be
a piglet.M
y best memory in
FFA is getting tospend time
with other FFA members at
contest.
M
y name is Emma Morris
and I am the Fairfax FFA
chapter reporter. I am a
junior at Fairfax High School.
I currently hold the Chapter
FFA Degree. My parents are
Billy and Kelly Morris. If I
could be any farm animal, I
would be a chicken. I would
be a chicken because I could
have pretty feathers, lay
different colored eggs, and die
for a good purpose: to feed the
world with my eggs and meat.
My best memory in FFA was
showing my chickens on Ag
Day my sophomore year. This
gave me experience with our
youth on showing them how
important chickens can be to
the world.
We want to take the
opportunity to thank all of
those who continue to support
our chapter! We couldnt do
what we do without you all!

Fairfax FFA &

FCCLA community
blood
drive
The Fairfax
FCCLA
and
FFA held a
community
blood
drive
September 29,
2014, in the
Fairfax School
cafeteria. On
September 15,
2014, the two Alyssa Garrison and Crystal Yocum
organizations work at the blood drive.
worked together in calling area residents to set up
appointments for the upcoming blood drive.
We appreciated all of the support from those who came
out to donate blood. The blood that we collect stays in
our area. Even though our numbers were down due to
farmers working in the field we were able to collect 27
units for our area. Thanks for the support of this worthy
cause.

Opening up
a world of
opportunity
for our youth!
