The Jinn and the Knowledge of the Unseen
Many people believe that the jinn know the unseen,
and the jinn do their best to spread this wrong notion
among humans. But Allah has shown the falsity of
their claim in the story of the Prophet Solomon.
THE WORLD OF THE JINN AND DEVILS
Solomon was given power over the jinn who worked on
his behalf. After his death, his body stayed erect,
leaning on a staff, and the jinn continued to work. They
were not aware that he had died until some crawling
creatures ate away the staff he was resting on.

Then Solomon fell and it was made clear to the people that the
jinn are liars when they claim to know the unseen. Allah says,

Then when We decreed death for him (Solomon), nothing
informed them (jinn) of his death except a little worm of
the earth, which kept gnawing away at his stick, so when
he fell down, the jinn saw clearly that if they had known
the unseen, they would not have stayed in the
humiliating torment. Saba 14

We have already mentioned how they stole
messages from the heavens, and how the
guards in the heavens were increased after the
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was
sent. After that the jinn were confounded.

-Caution and care
After you know that the Satan is your enemy, you
must know and be aware of his goals and his
stratagem in order to be victorious over him. If
man is heedless about these affairs, then Satan
can attack him through any means that he
pleases.

2- Sticking to the Book of Allah and
the Sunnah.
"And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not
(other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path.
This He has ordained for you that you may become AlAl-Muttaqun

3- Taking refuge and shelter in Allah
4- Being busy with the remembrance
of Allah

5- Sticking to the Muslim community

6- Uncovering designs and plans of Satan
7- Differing from Satan
8. Repentance and seeking forgiveness
9. To put an end to the suspicious aspects
and
the questionable matters by which Satan
enters into the soul

1- Effects of fighting against Satan and his
supporters leads to the perfection of worship.
2- By the existence of Satan the slaves of Allah
become fearful due to their sins.

3- Allah has made him a lesson for those who
reflect.
4- Allah has made Satan a test and trial for His
slaves.

5- The creation of Satan demonstrates the complete
ability of Allah to create opposites.
6- Opposites show the virtues of their opposites by way
of contrast.
7- Difficulties lead to appreciation and thankfulness.

8- In the creation of lblees rests many aspects
of worship.
9- The creation of Satan makes Allahs signs
clear as well as the wonderfulness of His
power.

10- The creation of Iblees from fire is a sign for
believers.
11- It also makes apparent the meaning of
many of the names of Allah.

12- The creation of Satan makes apparent Allahs
complete rule and control over the affairs of this
creation.
13- The existence of Iblees is also demonstrates
the completeness of Allahs wisdom and creation.

14- The creation of Iblees also illustrates how
Allah has hindered and subdued everything.
15- It also demonstrates the patience Allah
bestows to his servants.

16- Allah created everything in order to vividly
illustrate the meaning of His names and attributes,
and their corresponding effects.
17- Resulting from the creation of this accursed
being is a wisdom that leads to the love of Allah.

18- Allah loves to be the Protector and the
Refuge for His servants and patrons.

THE WISDOM BEHIND LEAVING SATAN
UNTIL THE END OF TIME
THE WORLD OF THE JINN AND DEVILS
1- He leaves Satan as a test and trial for the
servants.
2- He leaves Satan as a reward for his
previous deeds.
THE WORLD OF THE JINN AND DEVILS
3-Satan is left to increase his sins.
4- He has been left to be the patron and ally
of the evildoers.
