Monday Day 1
Today, I was assigned to document and record all the groups activities through relevant
and adequate photos. In the beginning of the day, we went to Municipal Hall to see the Mayor of
Ternate and the whole class and I were able to meet him. After that, we went to their clinic and I
was able to document and take pictures of my classmates with the doctors and nurses. I also took
picture of the clinics mission vision. When we were done meeting the Mayor, we went to San
Juan 1barangay hall and their RHU. I was able to document the workers and the community
health team of the RHU. I also took picture of the Barangay Kagawad lists with the barangay
chief and the deputies. After an hour, we went to headquarters/house were we are going to stay
for a month. I was able to take photos of our first pre conference with the classmates and the
clinical instructors.
November 26 2014
Wednesday Day 7
Its 26th day of November, I was assigned on taking documentations of today's activity
and before starting the day we all performed morning exercise to energized us and be ready for
the whole day activity. The food committee prepares our breakfast; they woke up early to prepare
delicious food for us. After a minute of energizer we all gather together to have our breakfast
before we go to our respective families to invite them in the upcoming general assembly in the
community at 1 oclock in the afternoon. Before the general assembly with my group mates we
went to our clients to invite them to join in the general assembly. We also had a short
conversation about the purpose of the event. When we finished persuading our client to join the
event, we went back to headquarter and have our lunch
For the preparation, each group had a designated task because we are the facilitator and
the host of the said event. My group was assigned in registration section. We are the one who
accommodate and assist the people who are coming to join the assembly. The number of our
participants was 50-55 people. The flow of the assembly was good, there were some issues in the
community that was raised in the meeting including the garbage segregation, common vices such
as smoking and alcoholic beverages consumption, religious activities that was set aside by some
of them, and most of all was the livelihood improvement.
At the end of the day, after the successful event, we summed it up, and document the
raised problems. We study all the areas and think what we can do to help the community. What I
learned in this activity was the unity of each and everyone as the key to achieve a common goal.
And to reached out with the people to know their thoughts and hear from them what they
observed in their community. It plays a great role to understand their living and the whole
community as a whole.
December 1, 2014
Monday Day 9
Its the 1st day of December, and we spent our whole day to continue our community
immersion at Bagangay San Juan I, Ternate Cavite. Today, I was assigned to document all the
activities through photos. In the beginning of the day, we arrive at 7:00 am in our headquarters,
and we start the task that was designated to each other. Everyone was responsible to their
assignments, they know what should they do for the preparing for the upcoming implementation;
they are aware what should they need to do for their programs. And today, all proposal must be
done and send it to the officials of the said barangay.
Each core group was assigned to different programs, which are the Livelihood, Health
Management, Waste Disposal, Physical Fitness, Spirituality, Child Care, and Leagues for the
youth. And each of this has assigned student to stand as the student facilitator.
The whole day, every group was divided into two; the first half was busy preparing their
allegedly programs. And the other half, continue their immersion and started to invite the
community to participate in every activities that will implement this week.
