Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson King of Pop. This title has not given it to him.
Was awarded by millions of fans around the world and by other
artists, including not equal. How to get the title, you ask? It all
came naturally. L-deserved! No other performer in history has
generated massive sales that took him. No other performer in
history has received many awards and received many
appreciations him. No other artist in history and mass hysteria
straneste interest him. And no other performer in history has
made him many humanitarian efforts. There was no one like him
before, and there will be no one like him again. That's because
Michael Jackson is unique!
Michael became a superstar at an age when most children learn
things like the alphabet and how to count to 10. Born the seventh

child in a family of 11 members, Michael and his older brothers

[Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon] have been thrust into the
spotlight when their father Joseph Jackson, a steel mill worker in
Gary, Indiana, founded a group of his sons and called Jackson 5.
Even if Michael was the youngest, became immediately clear to
everyone that had something special. Armed with a magical voice,
more mature than his young age and with a charming aura that
rivaled that of any artist at that time, little Michael lead his
brothers in local talent contests and winning a recording contract
with Motown in the late 60s. During his time at Motown, Michael
began a successful solo career that run alongside his work with
siblings.

In 1976, the Jacksons left Motown and signed a contract with

Epic Records where they continued to release hit after hit. In
1978 Michael ventured into film [The Wiz] with Diana Ross, an
African-American "Wizard of Oz". The movie was not great, but
to put Michael in a race with destiny as filming on the set of "The
Wiz" he met producer Quincy Jones.

Michael and Quincy collaborated on his next solo project, Off

The Wall. And with this album Michael was immediately
transformed from a boy into a nice adult superstar. The album
was released in 1979 to critical praise because of conflicting
musical influences of those years, and rock and soul, the album is
a continuous movement of dance. With top no.1 songs like "Do not
Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and "Rock With You", the album sold in

10 million copies and has come to be marked multiplatina. It is

hard to believe that any artist could top a success so great. But in
1982, Michael has done just that with the launch of a monster
album called "Thriller".

"Thriller" broke all kinds of records. It sold more than 50 million

copies worldwide [more than any other album before it or after].
The album was a record six top 10 hits and has spent a record 37
weeks at number one. It remains the best selling album of all
time. In that year, Jackson won eight Grammy awards, a number
never seen before - 7 "Thriller" and one for "ET - The
Storybook". Most of the success of "Thriller" was due to a new
thing called "video". Hits like "Billie Jean", "Beat It" and
"Thriller" came alive before our eyes with a story.
