Simbang Gabi
What is Simbang Gabi? It is a tradition in the Philippines
to have a novena before Christmas. Traditionally, it begins with Mass as early as 4:00 AM, followed by gathering for refreshments or breakfast. At St. Columba, we will
hold a shortened version on the following dates and
times:
Tuesday, Dec. 16, 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, 6 p.m.,
Sunday, Dec. 21, 7 p.m., & Tuesday, Dec. 23, 6 p.m.
Everyone is welcome. If you wish to come to the reception
in the Hall after Mass on the 16th, please bring a dessert
or something sweet to share. If you come on the other
evenings, please bring a salad or soup to share.
Matthew 25 Giving Tree
The Matthew 25 Giving Tree in the church vestibule is
hung with envelopes for donations. Funds collected will
be given to Fr. John Tasto to support his parish and
school in Tijuana, Mexico. Make checks payable to St.
Columba Church. Thank you for supporting this worthy program.
Nativity Displays
This weekend, everyone is invited
to come to the Hall after Mass to

scenes. After the 5:30 Mass on Saturday and Sunday, there will be
coffee, hot chocolate and cookies.

The Gift of Generosity
This holiday season, we thank everyone who has supported St. Columba this past year with their time, talent,
and financial contributions and look forward to your
continued support in the year ahead. If you need a convenient way to make regular offerings or if you plan to
make an additional gift before the end of the year, we
encourage you to look into our electronic giving options.
As the pace of life speeds up, especially around the holidays, you may find electronic giving a most welcome way
