CHRISTMAS CAROLING, CHILI AND HOT CHOCOLATE: On Saturday, December 13
at 3:00 pm all who are interested in having fun, spreading cheer and the Christmas Spirit will
meet here in Fellowship Hall. First, we will start the evening off with chili so those that are able
please bring a pot of your favorite recipe. Second, we will be car pooling and going to a few
nursing homes and homes of our church members that are home bound to sing Christmas Carols.
Then third, to end the evening, back to the church to share experiences and hot chocolate. Sign
up at the Connection Station if you are coming and if you will be bringing chili.
SUNDAY THEME FOR DECEMBER 14, 2014CANNED FOOD SUNDAY. Our 2 x 4
food boxes help families through difficult weekends. Cold weather (higher costs of utilities) and
the Holidays fast approaching will see more families in need of emergency food supplies. One
small box can stop a family, especially the children, from going to bed hungry. Please continue
to give: cans of soup, cans of hash, meat and stew, boxes of hot and cold cereal, cans of evaporated milk and envelopes of powdered milk, cans of fruit, boxes of pasta and sauce, instant
mashed potatoes, bags of rice, peanut butter and jelly, saltine or ritz crackers, boxes of pancake
mix with syrup, and boxes of dry onion soup mix for flavoring. Thank you for your donations.
THE DEADLINE TO ORDER CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS is Dec 14th. Order forms are
available at the back of the church. Your payment must be received prior to ordering: $8.00 each
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Spiritual maturity comes from a lifetime of diligence.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help us to delight in spending time with you every day. Amen.
