Egg Biryani

I was just wondering the other day..."Why havent I posted a single Recipe made
of Egg?".....Instead of searching for an answer I wanted to post one of the egg
dishes that i relisha lot...thats my favourite Egg Biryani recipe to start with ! Iam
an Eggeterian and I honestly enjoy eating Eggs!"" #uring my childhood days I
have only had eggs twice or thrice..that too only $oiled eggs. %he $est part
during my hostel life in Bangalore&India use to $e the 'Egg $iryani' and couple of
other Egg recipes that my roommate use to ma(e.I even remem$er $uying some
eggs and re)uesting my roommate to ma(e Egg Biryani for me and use to eat it
li(e i have $een [Link] really not sure how the authentic egg $iryani would
taste li(e...co*' the egg $iryani i ma(e doesnt re)uire any grinding of masala

Ingredients :
. cups of Basmati Rice
. /arge eggs
. Boiled eggs 0 cut them into pieces!length wise "
12. cup of chopped onions
1 cup of chopped tomatoes
. 3reen 4hillies
12. teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
+!5 ta$lespoon of 6il2ghee
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1 ta$lespoon of Red 4hilli 7owder
12. teaspoon of garam masala powder
5!8 4loves
.!+ Bay leaves
9 pinch of 4ardamon 7owder

Wash the Basmati Rice & drain the water and coo( the rice after sometime.
:eat some oil2ghee in a pan.
;ry the 4loves&Bay leaves.
9dd the onions&green chillies&ginger garlic paste and fry them till the onions turn
transparent.
<ow add the chopped tomatoes&turmeric powder&red chilli powder and the garam
=asala 7owder.=i> well and coo( for 1, mins.
9dd -alt&4ardamon 7owder and =i> well.
<ow Brea( the eggs and add the contents.%his process needs lots of [Link]

9fter 1,!1. mins once the mi> is dry enough to $e mi>ed with therice remove the
pan from heat.
<ow add the coo(ed $asmati rice to the curry.=i> well.%hen add the $oiled egg
pieces and mi> well without $rea(ing them.-erve hot with chips2papad or a hot
curry of your choice !

Its the most refreshing drink Ive had in Ethiopia. Bt, a !onfession" I dont kno# the
$antities of all the ingredients. I got the info from one of the #aiters at the Lime%ree
restarant in &ddis &'a'a, and he didnt speak a ton of English( )o, this re!ipe #as
