Pipe Color Code

This document provides guidelines for identifying pipes by color according to the National Building Code. It lists the following color codes: White for high pressure steam pipes and buff for exhaust systems. Blue for high and low pressure fresh water pipes and green for salt water pipes. Brass/bronze for oil delivery pipes and yellow for oil discharge pipes. Gray for all pneumatic pipes. Black for all gas pipes and fuel oil pipes.
