&his week we are going to link the modes of transport, the locations and the
occupations together. 'or e!ample, a doctor works at a hospital, when there is
an emergency a doctor dri#es in an am$ulance. ( pilot works at an airport and
flies an airplane. ( police officer works at a police station and dri#es a police
car. ( farmer li#es on a farm and dri#es a tractor. ( teacher works at a school.
(nd so on.
We will $e doing acti#ities using flash cards di#iding the class into two teams.
Boys #s %irls. &hey lo#e a $it of competition and it tends to speed up the pace
of the class ) the rate at which they learn.
We will $e making two $ig posters using future $oards. *ne will $e of the
town, the other of the country. &he students will draw and colour what you find
in the town and what you find in the country. We will then cut out the drawings
and for e!ample stick a picture of a farmer and a cow in the country and a
picture of a car and a policeman in the city.
