To calculate a bhav chalit chart: 1) The lagna degree minus 7 degrees and plus 7 degrees are considered to be in the same position as the lagna chart. 2) Planets located 7-14.5 degrees ahead or behind the lagna degree are considered to be in the 1st house, even if they fall in the 2nd or 12th house. 3) For example, if the lagna is at 29 degrees, a planet at 1 degree in the 2nd house would be in the 1st house, but a planet at 22 degrees would remain in the 2nd house.

how to calculate bhav chalit chart??? as many different softwares showing different positions..

plz guide


Simple Analysis: lagna degree minus 7 plus 7 should be OK in the same position as lagna chart -- lagna degree + 7 and - 7
should be ahead or behind compared to the lagna chart -- rest planets stay same place but not as significant for
bhavchalit...


Technically: Actually lagna degree and then 14.5 degrees ahead and 14.5 degrees behind is considered in 1st house even
though they are in 2nd or 12th house.


For example Lagna degree 29 so planets in 2nd house at 1st degree should be in 1st house in bhavchalit but planet in
22nd degree should be in n2d house only
