Firepumpshopdrawings4 01

This document provides requirements for fire pump shop drawings based on the 2006 International Building and Fire Codes as well as the 2003 edition of NFPA 20. It outlines 14 submittal and technical requirements for fire pump systems including pump curves, piping and valve sizing, pressure gauges, pump room ventilation, and electrical controls and transfer switches. Adherence to these national standards helps ensure fire pumps are properly designed and installed to provide adequate water supply for fire protection.
