Personal Profile
I am an energetic, determined and creative individual, currently completing a master degree
in marketing with a distinction. I did a full-time undergraduate degree while working for a
major bank in Iceland and playing football in the Icelandic Premier League. With this busy
schedule I learned how to work under pressure, organize and manage my time effectively.

• 2008 / 2009: MA Marketing – Kingston University London – UK (Expected Distinction)


• 2005 - 2008: BSc Business Administration – University of Iceland – Iceland (First

Work Experience

Position: Database Administrator
o Responsible for the financial accounts and CRM database.
o Design and implementation of processes for tracking and inputting accounts
into database.
o Input in design and operationalization of CRM and financial database
functions
o Communicating with senior members of staff over financial statements.
o Communicating and collecting financial statements from clients.

• 2007: Landsbanki, Iceland, Headquarters, Marketing Department


Position: Market Researcher
o Did an audit of the banks’ sponsorship activities where they were the official
sponsor of the Icelandic Premier League named the Landsbanki Premier
League.
o Worked in co-operation with the bank, the Icelandic FA and sports marketing
company SportFive to analyse the sponsorship relationship.
o Did an image survey and gave recommendations regarding how to improve
their sponsorship activities, mostly regarding how to measure return on
sponsorship.

• Other jobs include playing and coaching football, team leader for gardening
projects and assistant teacher at a school for children with attitudinal problems.

Achievements

• Brian Francis Memorial Award – Kingston University London: Granted for best
presentation skills and creativity.
• Course Representative for MA Marketing – Kingston University London
• Ran for congress in Iceland in 2003 for the Liberal Party at age 20 and gained
invaluable experience in public relations and self presentation.
• President of the Sports Council in high school.
