CFA Program curriculum Study session outlines, learning outcome statement (LOS), and errata Topic area weights for each level Sample questions The CFA Program is a graduate-level self-study program which covers a broad curriculum and includes professional conduct requirements. The program culminates in three sequential exams: Levels I, Level II, and III. The curriculum progresses in content complexity as you move through the three levels: Level I: Includes basic knowledge focusing on investment tools, along with some analysis Level II: Further emphasizes analysis along with application Level III: Focuses on synthesizing all of the concepts and analytical methods in a variety of applications for effective portfolio management and wealth planning
Study Materials
When you register for a CFA exam, you gain access to study materials designed to help you prepare. For the December 2013 exam, one mock exam is included in the registration fee and we offer three options for purchasing the CFA Program curriculum: eBook only, print only, or both. Two versions of the sample exam are also available for purchase. For the June 2014 exam, your registration fee includes access to the curriculum eBook and supplemental study tools, including mock exams, topic-based practice assessments, and an interactive study planner (supplemental study tools available 1 November).
