B I O G R A P H Y D A Y

A.J. as Jackie Kennedy Onassis

For the club: We are having presentations to which parents and forensics coaches are invited to hear the participants present the pieces they have been working hard on during club. The 5-6th Grade Club Presentation is Tuesday, March 11, 3:20-5ish (until done) in the MPR. The 4th Grade Club Presentation is Wednesday, March 12, 3:20-5ish (until done) in Mr. Etters Science Room (building 418). For the team: Try-out results will be emailed home over Spring Break. (There is a lot of information to compile.) During the week after Spring Break, the forensic coaches will be looking at the team members schedules and assigning practice times and coaches. Please have your child be thinking about the category piece they may want to use for the tournament. Individual practices w/ the coaches will begin the second week after Spring Break, March 17. The tournament is Wednesday, April 16th, at Norfolk Collegiate School. It starts about 12:30 and goes until 5ish. If you know your child has been chosen for the team and CANNOT attend the tournament, PLEASE notify Ann Dubik ASAP. Over Spring break, please encourage your child to practice their Club pieces for the presentation. Any questions, please dont hesitate to contact Ann Dubik @ [email protected].

First Grade Fun: French Breakfast at Mrs. Kellys Tuesday, March 18th, 9:05am 9:55am, Madame Kelly, a friend and neighbor of The Williams School, has invited the 1st grade class to celebrate the schools 17th Annual Petit Djeuner at her Fairfax home. She will serve the students a delicious traditional French breakfast in her dining room. The children will perform a selection of songs in the music room. I encourage the class to wear the colors red, white, and blue for this special event. Merci beaucoup and bon apptit! Madame Britz
