We had a mixed response for receiving newsletters online or in the folder. To make it less
confusing, I will continue to send it in paper form.

Book Order
Book orders may be completed and returned this Friday.

Homework
Read two books to your child every night.

Pick one of the following activities to do each night. There are enough activities to do
Monday through Thursday with a few extras. Take 5-10 minutes for homework.

Make the block with –at words.

Fold the sight word book. Follow the directions on the paper.

Cut apart an old calendar. Put the numbers in order from 1-10. Try 1-20. If you are
ready, try 1-30.

Try telling math story problems such as this:

Listen to them read.


• We Have Fun

Play a game with your child. Memory Games are excellent games which teach the children
to memorize and recall information.

Monday-

Tuesday-Full Day All children attend


Last day to turn in money and forms for the field trip.

Wednesday-

Thursday-Full day all children attend


Today the children and parents will be matched up for the field trip.
Review the guidelines. Drivers can attend chapel with us. If not, please be ready by the room by 9:00. am,

Friday –Field Trip


We leave at 9:15. We will return close to 12:00.
Return the folder. Give the Mission Money Envelope to your child so they can give it in chapel.

Mid-terms will be sent home today.

September 27-Parent Conference Night 5-7pm


September 29-Return the field trip form
October 1-“Keeping Your Child Safe”
October 2-9:15 we leave for our first field trip
October 9-Fall festival
October 11-40th Anniversary Celebration of our School
